Brian Cares
Bar 25, Berlin
(Quelle: Lost and Sound von Tobias Rapp)
Brian Cares was born in eastern germany sometime in the eighties. His head-mounted mini-satellites picked up the local radio station transmissions, giving him his first directive: to understand, emulate, and recreate the electronic sounds received. So he downloaded all the necessary data onto his mainframe and reprogrammed himself to become an audio engineer and protools operator.
As he began retransmitting his own signals on the streets and in the clubs of Berlin, he became fascinated with the enigma they call „night life“, and in order to collect more data he upgraded his functionality to produce dance music. receiving positive feedback from this strange and wonderful „night life“ caused the brian interface to produce more and more tracks, releasing them on labels like Freizeitglauben, Blaou, Hoerspielmusik and Forcetracks, thus creating a frequency feedback loop, allowing the brian unit to open his chestbox, develop a heart, and finally care.
Now you can experience brian cares 2.0 in all his electro-emotional glory on his very own playground: the fingerprints project.
